An ongoing relationship, not a series of invoices

Venturien runs client work on a structured, portal-based model rather than unpredictable hourly billing. Choose a package below, then use a complimentary consultation to confirm fit and tailor the scope. All packages require conflict clearance and a written engagement agreement, including applicable California Rule of Professional Conduct 1.15(b) disclosures for advance flat fees deposited into the firm's operating account.

Standard rate & overage

Our standard hourly rate is $500. Included hours in each package below are priced at a discount off that rate — $475/hour for Essentials, $450/hour for Growth, and $425/hour for Enterprise — rewarding the size of the monthly commitment. Work beyond a package's included hours, regardless of how long a client has been on the plan, is billed at the full $500 standard rate.

Essentials Package

Legal Access & Advisory

$950 / month — 2 included hours ($475/hour effective)

For solopreneurs, creators, and early-stage founders who need regular advice and a bounded contract check-in.

Structured allocation: two scheduled 30-minute video or phone consultations, plus one contract review per month (up to 10 pages, two redline turns — one initial markup, one reconciliation pass).

Scope vs. time: the page and turn limits define what’s eligible as in-plan work. Time spent beyond the included hours, regardless of page count or turn number, converts automatically to overage at the rate below.

Service standard: response within 48 business hours.

Overage & add-ons: a bounded add-on (one more document review, one more consultation) is quoted as a flat fee equal to one hour at the standard rate below. Open-ended work (drafting from scratch, negotiation) is billed hourly at the same rate. Overage rate: $500/hour, regardless of plan tenure.

Overage: authorized work beyond the included hours is billed at $500/hour, the standard rate, regardless of plan tenure.

The baseline for every package

No rollover

Included monthly hours are non-cumulative and reset on the first day of each billing period.

Billing increments

Only client-authorized work beyond the allocated cap or outside scope is billed in one-tenth-hour (six-minute) increments at the applicable package rate.

Third-party costs excluded

Filing fees, registration costs, court fees, specialist fees, and third-party software or service costs are invoiced separately as reimbursable expenses.

What stays consistent across engagements

  • Work is requested and tracked through a shared portal, not scattered email threads.
  • Every request enters a visible pipeline so you know what's queued, active, or ready for your review.
  • Foundational documents — bylaws, incorporation papers, executed agreements — are indexed in your Document Vault.
  • Equity financings, M&A, litigation, regulatory investigations or enforcement actions, compliance audits, and IP prosecution are outside the scope of any package and are quoted as separate engagements.

Website descriptions are informational and may change. They do not create an attorney-client relationship or guarantee availability, representation, results, or acceptance into a particular package. The signed engagement agreement controls and will define scope, exclusions, authorization for additional work, how fees are earned, termination, and refund rights. Litigation and other matters not expressly included are outside scope unless separately agreed in writing.
